When I boot this from the homebrew channel I get a warning screen to read carffully before installing and sayd if I do not agree to turn my Wii off now. It doesnt say how to accept. It just sits there. What m I doing wrong?

Enter Mario Bruzza
Enter Sandman.
Been pressing Minus, A, 1, Up, B, Right, up, 2, 2, A

Many times now, doesn't work.. What the heck am I doing wrong. Why does it have to be so cryptic? I don't know if it's just that I've had no sleep or I'm just not seeing the bigger picture. Argh >

That's because it should be Minus, A, Right, 1, Up, B, Right, up, 2, 2, A

Still can't get the code to work to install preloader,I'll try again.
Also do you have to input the code fast.

Seems I had 0.25 ... And the code wasn't working in that... finally realised.. got 0.26.. and it's fine.. god I'm tired. -.- But I have to stay up for a delivery ; ;

Thanks anyways..

Oh well,I'll just give up on this,I have tried to input the code many many times and nothing happens.

To me, the "force disc region" hack just froze my wii if I use 480p mode (even if I set it in the menu, without any game) and, if I use 480i, just froze when I start a game (wiimotes switch off, black screen and nothing else).
I'm using a PAL wii with preloader v.26 and I have a game (One Piece: Unlimited Adventure) that need the language set to English, otherwise it won't boot. For now I'm using softchip (it's a backup), but in the weekend will arrive the original (just bought).

Anyone has the freezing issue with the disc hack?

Code:
[Force Disc Region]
version=290
offset=0x81377B18
value=0x3C608000
[Force Disc Region]
version=290
offset=0x81377B1C
value=0x936300CC

is 0.27 out? i noticed the update screen on my 0.26 preloader, but can't seem to get past the downloading changelog part ...

I can't get the code to work either. I've tried minus, A, Right, 1, Up, B, Right, Up, 2, 2, A as per the instructions. I've redowloaded .26 just in case .

I'm using wiimote 1. Have tried the code with the wii remote sideways as if playing mario kart and upright. Each time I revert back to HBC before booting again and trying carefully to enter the codes.

Any way to disable to need for a password please or should I be using a GC controller (which I don't have)? Any help appreciated please!

yes its out
I had no problem with the online update

0.27

* added a setting to stop the disc when autoboot is disabled
* added a setting to return to preloader when wii titles are using the switch off state
* added a setting to show beta updates
* added a setting to disable lighting the drive slot on error
* added one message to make the online update not look frozen
* errors when parsing the hacks.ini now show the line
* preloader now regards the shutdownmode (OFF/Standby)
* fixed that under certain circumstances hacks from another
* version were applied
* fixed a setting related bug
