well crap. Thanks ether but I thought the system menu contained all the original IOS files so it would reinstall all of them over the cios files from cioscorp. Heck, I thought that was how people suggested getting rid of cioscorp was just reinstall the system menu.

Man, this is getting confusing. there is just too many things you can do to keep up with them all. lol

thanks again tho ether, now I will keep my systemmenu289.wad on my SD card in case I or anyone else wants to remove cioscorp (for whatever reason)

system menu replacement DOES NOT remove cioscorp. to do that you have to upgrade your system, or manually install all the official or trucha signed IOS's

sweet guys, thanks everyone a million! You guys really are a lot more help then you'll ever know! I don't know where the wii scene would be without you all!

And since my questions have kind of turned into cioscorp questions, I will go there now.

Thanks again guys!

doesn't actually the renamed and moved systemmenu (1000004x.app) stays in place if you reinstall the original systemmenu over preloader (0000004x.app) to remove it? so you have the systemmenu file twice on your nand?

Didn't quite understand what you're asking but if you think that in the installation process the SysMenu gets duplicated....?? then no..!!

It doesn't get duplicated until preloader which creates the 10000043.app to go along with the 00000043.app or PAL equivelent. Please correct me if i'm wrong. At least my system menu folder has both the 00000043.app and 10000043.app in it.

It doesnt get duplicated at all. 00000004x.app is the preloader code and is only about 300k, 1000004x.app is the original system menu just renamed. If you reinstall the system menu then you will have a duplicate copy at 1000004x.app. This is the only reason i think we need an uninstaller for preloader to remove the duplicate channel to save space if we ever decide we dont want preloader, or if something better comes along

that's exactly what i wanted to say in my last post

i rephrased it a little bit, maybe it's more likely to be understandable now than it was before.

OK I need someone to test my theory, it is soooooo safe in doesn't even involve any installation or mesing around with the SysMenu it self, just need to have preloader installed, and be NTSC-U region..!!

Is there a code for the hack.ini to move the disk channel?

Nope, but you can use this WiiMu and then patch the DVD channel so you can move it back to original position, you will need the sysmenu.dol in the SD to work..!!

ok i see thepost above me thanks but how bout stand by

ether there is a preloader hack for moving the channel but thats not what it was named... I think it was the IOS reload code. I can't find it now but i know it was posted because i had it installed before we solved the region load issues, but overwrote my hacks.ini with the new one
