A lot of people have wanted this as there system menu stays intact therefore completely safe.

But beware, last time I checked using that with preloader prevented me to open my sd saves... Though can't test the ios 249 stuff...

ps: hmm, it can be an issue with the libraries in my devkitpro installation too... since menu loader did the same thing on a non preloader
installed system.... can you compile the last one I uploaded and share with us?

OK this can work I think:

1)Inserted the Price is right (NTSC-U) and the banner appear in the Disc Channel
2)Inserted Deal or no Deal (PAL) didn't appear
3)Launched this menu patcher and inserted The Price is Right (NTSC-U) and it shows me the UPDATE on the Disc Channel.

It's like this patcher jumps the hacks preloader did on the SysMenu...!!!

This is GREAT, but one thing:

The DOL does not boot from preloader at all, also does not boot with autoboot set on DOL.

Do you think you can fix this aquilino?

If i put the menu loader in my SD, and autoboot the app in Preloader, it'll be exactly like if I was loading the system menu but it'd be region free?

Get FS Browser, pick SU, go to title, 0000001, then, 00000002, then content folder

Yes, but it wont boot through preloader, or autoboot at all.

just use the remove hacks tool, it literally takes 15 seconds to do... better to be safe than sorry

EDIT:Something might happen, but you wont brick, plus thats the whole reason for preloader, to prevent bricks

NTSC 3.2U/PreLoader

When poclauncher loads the MenuPatcher-IRON channel it's ok to that point. So i set preferred options and Press A and Menu Patcher continues... but right before the Patches are applied there is a File Not Found! message and then the patching text scrools by and the program exits.

I have my system menu dol on the root of my SD card as 3 seperate copies. sysmenu.dol systemmenu.dol and ntsc.dol

I've tried both the Waninkoko edited patcher and the WiiCrazy updated menu patcher from today.

Hopefully we'll get some more testing results posted soon.

Preloader 'replaces' the systemmenu (it's not really replaced, its main.dol is just
renamed) with a simple loader which allows you to automatically load the HBC,
a .dol you can install from SD or the systemmenu.
It also allows you to use simple patches on the systemmenu.
To start the installtion enter I raid u. (On WiiMote press - 1,Right,A,1,Down,Up) Voila!
