I know the Miiverse is long dead, so consequently when we boot up our Wii U these days, the warawara plaza as it was known is loaded with default miis, icons and posts. These are all boring posts telling you what the default apps do. (Miiverse may have been a failure in a lot of ways, but I really do miss when this screen would fill up with Miis from around the world with posts they've made on games you're also playing, pretty neat idea and was always a nice trea.)

Anyway, I was wondering if there is any place we could edit in a hacked Wii U that could change what these default posts say? Would be a nice way to add a little personalization to something that has long since lost any sense of identity. I imagine these files could be found somewhere with ftpiiu, but I imagine that could be dangerous to mess with too.

Dude...the wii u is end of life. No one cares about it anymore.
The existence of this thread would indicate otherwise.

Would be really nice to see, actually. I don't boot my Wii U much anymore because of Cemu, but when I do I'm tired of seeing the old default messages. It'd be great to "restore" it to something of a snapshot from when the services were active.

Do you understand the site you're on? Wii U failed as a commercial system, but lives on strong as a hackable system, which is one of the major focuses on this site and these boards.

Still why would someone focus on something nobody but 2 people care about when there's other important stuff that needs focusing?

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
