Hello,

Just realised my son has been playing nintendo switch with flight mode disabled on Emunand.

I am not sure by default would the switch be trying to talk to Nintendo, not been playing online.

I believe this only happened yesterday.

Would Nintendo now detect switch has emunand and has banned it?

Whenever you go online with CFW you're risking a ban. Most of the time the ban isn't immediate - from what I've read, Nintendo seems to ban in waves, so there's no guarantee that you're safe.

If you have a bunch of NSPs installed then the chances of being banned are higher, but people have been banned without NSPs and similarly there are reports of people with NSPs escaping the banhammer, so unfortunately it's hard to say with 100% certainty.

Likely no bans to happen from just using CFW but you never know. As long as an online game was not played, you're likely safe. No one can say for sure though. (EMUmmc probably doesn't make a difference in this situation.)

If NSP are installed, yes. The chances are high. But if the CFW disable the telemetry properly, you shouldn't have to worry to much.

I have been lucky and dodged a ban after having a dodgy emunand connect to the internet, although it's worth noting that while it had Nsp's installed nothing was run while connected, it just downloaded a system update. Your mileage may vary, considerably. Many have reported bans for much less, it's really hard to pinpoint the genuine triggers.
