For a while, I wanted to see if the Windows XP Tour was able run on the Wii via Adobe Flash injection. From Reddit's r/WiiHacks, someone previously attempted to get the SWF segment files to show on the Wii, but not the full tour itself. In order to get the full tour working on the Wii, all SWF files, the TXT files, and the Flash Player 5 application had to be ported. While everything else was injectable, the Flash Player 5 application can't be injected since it was an EXE file for Windows... or at least you can't inject it as is...
After researching, I used a tool called the "Universal Extractor 2" to extract the EXE file of the Flash Player used for the tour. This unlocked the SWF file containing the background, tour music, and (importantly) the ActionScript 2 code that loads all SWF and TXT file segments. Since it was injectable like its other subclasses, all that was needed was to select that main file and inject everything together using the WAD injector, FriishProduce. The Windows XP Tour works like a charm on the Wii, with the exception of the [ X ] button to exit the application.
