Gaming Poker Night Questions.

Hello all, I've been thinking about picking up Poker Night 1 and/or 2, though I don't know how to play. So this leads to my first question:

Is there a tutorial mode?

While I was on the store pages (Steam) I noticed that there is no multiplayer of any kind!

So question 2:
Has the company ever explained why there is no multiplayer?
