Pokémon Ultra Moon Issue

Ok so I use Citra emulator and I'm running a ROM (I don't have the funds to pick up the game with the console yet however I plan to do so when I can) and I'm not able to access my bag in Pokémon ultra moon does anybody know if this might be an anti-piracy feature?

I think you should check the key-bindings (I believe it's the X key in real hardware)
