So, a few days ago I finally received my Pokemon Moon cartridge and decided to transfer the save file from my leaked Pokemon Moon cia install to it.

Everything is working perfectly (Successfully downloaded the event Munchlax, so the online works) but I noticed a problem using Poke Pelago. The time doesn't seem to move when the system is switched off. It's been 3 days and I still can't send a "bean bottle".

Has anyone come across anything alike?
Can it be solved somehow?
Thanks!

That's what happens when the game detects a time change. Why are you turning the system off instead of letting it sleep?

Well how do I revert it back? The time used to move forward even when the system was turned off.. I have no intent of purposely leaving my system in sleep mode all the time.

You don't, you save the game and wait. If it detects another time change, it will pause all time based events for 24-48 hours.

Things that can cause a time change, besides actually changing the time.

Losing power from the battery, ie no power at all.

Using a different console.

And I asked "why" you are turning it off. If it's power related, then that might be why.

Ohhh, so it should revert back to normal after a while on its own?

It's probably because the cartridge was used on 2 different systems, one of them was running an hour early or so. Thanks!

The actual time on the other system doesn't matter. Even if you set them to the same time it will do it. The way the 3DS tells you the time is that it has an internal real time clock that you don't see, and it stores a file of how many seconds the time you set is from that rtc. So that file will be different on both systems, even if they have the same time. So if that file changes, the game will know. So, yes, if you used it in another system, that's why. Keep it in the system you want it on, make sure to save so it has a reference point, and wait.

Wow, so this means I can't switch it in between systems without triggering the 24-48 hour block? That's a shame... I have 2 n3ds systems, one has a CFW with a lot of other games while the other is an xl version and a bit more enjoyable to play on. I guess I'll always have to carry both with me until i successfully CFW my XL. Thanks for your help :)

Unless there was a way to copy the data of how many seconds difference there is, and then use the Dev Config app to change the RTC to correct the time, then yeah, it will do it every time. And even then you'd still need to be able to access that data somehow on both systems. Pokemon games have done this as far back as the DS games.
