You start the Pokedex with a number of pokemon, you can then recieve up to 3 pokemon each day. This will stop when you have one of each of the pokemon. From then on in order to gain the other forms (I.e summer deerling or pansear) you need other people with the Pokedex to give you them. Some of the legendarys can only be recived by scanning their AR markers... Hope this explains everything.

P.S. I Have a full pokedex

AR markers give you the ghost of Pokemon you've not already got (this does however increases your chance of getting them dramaticly). But Scanning the Ar code of certain legendey pokemon will give you them (Such as Victini) I'll include a link to the images of those you can get this way...

The Idea is that these can only be obtained by completing online challanges and/or attending events but they quickly got out... Enjoy. =3

If you feel like earning them here is a link to a quiz that unlocks them: http://www.pokedex3d.com/fun-stuff.html

There are 164 obtainable pokemon in pokedex 3d. 20 of those pokemon are only received through trading in person with someone else who has them in their pokedex while 7 of those 20 are obtainable depending on which pokemon's AR markers you've scanned. Also when you complete your pokedex you will obtain a gold medal as seen below.
