Hardware Play with GamePad while charging

To play with the wiiu gamepad while it is charging can give issues to battery life?

The gamepad charges faster than it drains, so I'm 90% sure no.

I've played with the GamePad while charging plenty of times and it doesn't seem to have any charging problems whatsoever so it's not something I'd worry about.

There's actually a (very slight) benefit to playing it with the charger attached. Brightness levels 4 and 5 are actually brighter when using AC than they are with the battery.

Yea but he asked about long term battery life and no one answered that. Generally, it's bad for batteries to do this, but a new battery doesn't cost that much and is easily user changeable. It's not like it's a macbook pro or iPad. If you decide it's time for a new battery after 2.5 years instead of 3 years, that isn't a big deal.

Not really cause i've been browsing the web all day with the gamepad with the charging cable attached & it hasn't effected my gamepads battery life one bit
