Hacking Play MM3DS on GW classic mode?

Is it possible to play MM3DS on GW emunand version 7.1 classic mode?

Yes, if you have the legit card, however, it may require you to update to 9.X, so ensure your emuNAND is on 9.X.

I have the physical card, and I updated with the update partition on the card, but when I try to play the game it gets stuck on the logo screen...

You're supposed to update while in emuNAND gateway mode. You were supposed to take the latest launcher, throw it on your SD card, boot into Gateway mode, and then update from there (where the firmware started with GW). Don't tell me you accidentally updated your sysNAND...

No, I don't have a GW, so I can't update to the latest version because then you have to have the card to boot into classic mode. I updated emunand with the update on the game using an earlier launcher. When I try to play MM in GW classic mode it locks up, but then I switched to MT classic mode and it works great.
