Pikmin 2: Colossal Caverns is a Pikmin 2 romhack that puts you in a single massive cave floor with every single enemy, treasure, and cave type in the game, all at once.
The latest build is Version 2.0 and only works with the dolphin emulator.
You must increase the amount emulated memory within dolphins settings for this hack to function.
To do this, you will need to use an up to date developer build of Dolphin emulator, not just 5.0!

New Features
-12 new characters made by the community
-A whole second page of the menu with new options:
-Purple and white onion mode -Lag reducing rendering mode (cant be used with extra units yet)
-Options for 4 different enemy strengths (Vanilla, 251, Lands of Torture, Kaizo) (251 enemies is only the parameters, not textures or elements yet)
-Showing treasures on map -New Hardcore mode only for the best pikmin players -3 characters, waluigi crewmate and m&m use different models based on the player ID.
This will be expanded more in the future Bug fixes

Bug Fixes
-Fix enemy counter being inaccurate at times -Fix ship pod animations breaking on collecting bodies in no onion mode
-The Beady Long legs with no key now consistently drops spectralids on death
-All Pikmin and captains now consistently appear in the radar map
-Free pikmin count and onion icons in the radar map work now -Homing rocks in multiplayer games now target the nearest captain
-Crawbster's falling rocks in multiplayer games now target the nearest captain
-Fix rest cave music option not working -No more random in-game crashes from too many objects
-Fixed weird camera behavior in single player when getting sprays Other -Ultra randomizer is now on page 2

Other
-You can now change the second captain with player 1s controller by holding Y
-RNG now constantly updates during the main menu
-The displayed cave seed now shows a note if you're using ultra randomizer or extra units
-Low life beeping/slow music is disabled
-Option for no cave music -Which ending theme plays is now based on which captain uses the geyser
-Find onion cutscene is gone -Zoom Out Camera distance increased
-Raging Long Legs drops mitites on death as well as the globe
-Buffed the "Corpse Limit" by 50 more objects

(Note that memory usage has been shifted around slightly with these changes, and layouts that loaded before may not now, and vice-versa)

I am not such a fan of colour outside the lines of hardware hacks but still nice to see things being pushed like this.
