Petit 3D is a homebrew app that Nintendo has on the eshop, that lets you design homebrew much, much faster than the original way on a computer. Yet it has certain restrictions that stop you from hacking the console, for example, you cannot connect to a server (except to download shared programs), you cannot make a web browser, you have to make your own images, sprites, graphics, mml, audio and more.
You can download the app on the North America eshop, JPN, and maybe EUR?

The only way to bypass the restrictions is to use RXtools, to decrypt it (9.2) and modify the restrictions out. That way you can make your own web browsers, online shops, ect. HOWEVER, I plan on making a interpreter that allows you to choose the file, programmed in the smilebasic editor, with added commands to support internet connection, images, and mp3's, so that we can have internet connection options with running our programs-all in userland, (themehax, oothax, browserhax, ect)

Nice!

I think this is the greatest app for a handheld system, and I'm still surprised Nintendo ever allowed it to be released. This is the type of app you'd expect on some open-source system, or a 1980's gaming computer, or a TI calculator (where I learned to program!) I guess they (correctly) assume that it is not powerful or popular enough to start eating into other game's profits, especially being limited to BASIC. It's still surprising though.

I've had this since the DS version and will glady pay the $10 or whatever next time I can sign into the eshop! It doesn't lo1ok much different than the DS one, but at least I won't have to scan 1,000+ QR codes!
