What are your personal pet peeves?

Mine personally are fan games, rom hacks or rom hack tools being put behind a paywall when they realistically shouldn't
and even if it isn't there's cornballs who make a whole ass ko-fi that make you put 0 dollars, your email, and a nickname
just to download a patch, like sure it's free but why not just upload it to a forum site or a discord at that point? it's just
tedious for the sake of being tedious, and despite finished products being free, they'll have ko-fi subscription that deadass gives the most pointless perks.

my second is also gatekeeping lost media behind an obnoxious site that even with an ablocker it's nauseating to navigate.
Ducumon site (formerly pokemoner) is my first thought that comes to mind, Pokemon Heart Gold + and Soul Silver +
are pretty much lost media now afaik because the team quit and scrubbed all their past projects along with it for download.
also the owner of that site (ducumon) is a weirdo

(1) I stumble my words a bit, so I talk quite fast just to get it out instead of trying to think on what to say to mates. I always have a need to edit my posts if it doesn't sound right to me, which we can all relate to, but it's an OCD situation where I want things right and not convoluted.


(2) Noobs on the forum annoy me, and I bet anybody else who's been on the forum for a long time now understands this. It all gets underwhelming when they keep asking the 'XY problem' and the 'Any X experts' type questions that shows fuck all to the thread, double-posting to get others to read their thread, and they don't even listen to what you say to them.

i 100% get this, before i used this forum i'd google questions and typically stumble on a reddit thread with the same garbage and at a certain point i was so annoyed and never go to that site for anything, i've seen here as well and people don't understand that threads are supposed be on topic of what was posted, there will be jokes cracked here and there but they never really over stay their welcome

Attitude. I don't want to argue with anyone. I ask a question [or look up a discussion] and someone assumes I didn't look it up first. Trust me, if I'm asking anyone anything, it's a last resort. Yes, I am very sensitive.

wanna addon to this by mentioning those who will respond to a question with another question in the context of one asking something along the lines of "Have you heard of this new pc port that just game out?"

and they'll reply with "no? i haven't where is it?" when typically something like that is everywhere with a quick google search where it essentially floods with info based on said subject.
