im on the newest firmware on my new 3ds xl im trying to install oot3dhax through browser hax using the installer but i keep getting a black and yellow screen someone help i have the digital game

Browserhax is unstable at best on 11.0. You'll just need to make sure you have the starter pack extracted to the root of your SD card, and keep on trying. (Initialize browser save data from time to time.)

also im having i problem with my home menu where when i swap around icons they switch back when i turn my 3ds back on i used custom themes on my old 3ds newest firmware and i use menuhax and chmm for the themes

The OOT3DHax sploitinstaller doesn't work on 11.0. You would need a system with 10.7 or less to install the exploit.

On 11.0, you're better off getting a physical copy and a Powersaves if you want OOT3DHax to work. My copy on 11.0 hasn't failed me yet.

Same for me. I followed plailect's guie last week using an oot cartridge as my entry point and everything went smoothly.

Uninstall menuhax first before making changes in your home menu. Reinstall when you're done.

Instead of using sploit installer, try using SVDT / JK Save Manager to restore these already exploited 11.0 savefiles to your OoT3D cartridge:

[EDIT] Nevermind, every homebrew save manager gets stuck on yellow screen when used with OoT3D via menuhax/browserhax. Interestingly, they work with other games just fine.
