My problems were because of some new anti-spam measure borking u[ and saying I had plugins that were could cause spam (which I don't)
A friend of mine just told me its down for maintenance now and I can't get anything to come up. Maybe they're fixing that crap security measure because they got too many complaints

Yeah their doing something. It goes on/off, and the news feed on my phone is like months old for some reason now
I rarely use my Facebook. It wouldn't be that big of a deal personally, but I hope you can fix the problem.
m.facebook.com on my phone, touch.facebook.com, and normal facebook are all down for me

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
