I've been looking for Controller Board Kit for old laptop's screen to use as an extra monitor

now the thing is that I also might need is a way to hide all this stuff so it looks clean. anyone know the best way to go about doing that.

1) You essentially build a new monitor case. Play it however you will but do bear in mind many monitors use fairly high voltages for the backlight so make sure nobody is going to get that across them. If you have the laptop still and not just the panel then they can work. You might be able to gut an old monitor for its case if you wanted
2) Many people doing this do it so they can have embedded screens in a desk, wall, art piece, test bench or something similarly fun like that.

In either case it should be fairly mundane examples of working with the material in question -- if you want a nice wood panel computer monitor to kick it 80s style (or older radio) then go that, if plastic then do what you need there, if metal do remember metal conducts but with standoffs and internal insulation it can still be done. If you want to put it in a bench (classic hardwood, green leather mid section sort of thing which folds out into a computer) then I recommend making sure the cables can't get yanked and break something.
