Hacking OK, I've managed to dump my Virtual Console games...

I just finished dumping and verifying my two Wii Virtual Console games. (SMB3 and Punch Out, both are USA versions) And, I was wondering how I can get them added to the release list and how I should have the files formatted and named. (I presume I should have the WAD file named appropriately) I'm assuming that I can just go as "iNDEPENDANT", correct?

Yeah, the're already dumped, sorry, it's going too fast now in the VC scene

also, you can't just go add your dumped games to the "official" release list, the scene takes care of that.

Plus, you can't just go 'iNDEPENDENT' ... the 'scene' needs to approve them ... you'll get nuked in a second without 'proper' approval ...

Agreed. To date, the only NTSC-U release has been SM64. Are you sure you aren't referring to PAL releases?

The only NTSC-U VC 'scene' release is SM64 ... I can confirm this ... that, however, may change, very shortly ...

You could do that by emailing one and join it (look in nfos for email addresses) if you have a good supply and dump often (you know what I mean,)

That site allows members to upload stuff they have put together ... they have tons of non-scene approved releases ... as do Demonoid ...

Just join a site that allows non-scene releases ... and upload them there ...

Yeah, I guess other people have dumped my games anyway. Plus, I just slapped them up on The Pirate Bay. I just wanted to see if I could get on an official release list. Oh well.

There's 60 NTSC VC releases right now to be exact and most of them are non-scene.
