You can't really judge a console by it's launch titles. It takes time for developers to get to grips with the new hardware and bring out the best. Look at the PS2, if only from a graphical standpoint. Do you remember it for its early titles, which looked mostly like upgraded PS1 games (stuff like Blood Omen, etc), or do you remember it for the games near the end of its dominance in the market, like Final Fantasy XII, with graphics that left your jaw hanging? It takes a while to draw out the latent potential of new systems. With this being the first 3D console as well (excluding the Virtual Boy, which only had what, 14 games?) it'll take time to develop for it because developers won't be used to what it can do, and they'll no doubt want to make use of all the new features, which adds to development time.

Don't worry if the launch lineup isn't to your taste. Give it a couple of months and we'll start seeing the good stuff, and it'll only start getting better from there. Take a look at what we're waiting on. Zelda, Kid Icarus, Lylat Wars, etc. And that's just what we're waiting on in the pre-launch slow period. God knows what we'll be waiting on in six months time. We're just impatient by nature. Sure, I want Zelda right now. But anticipation only hightens the pleasure, right?

The UK line-up is the same as the French. I'm not sure about what I will get yet.
