On topic: The only way I can ever see this actually working is if it was in the style of those LEGO board-game type things. Where one little brick (created by two stacked 1x1x1 plates) would be considered a block. And the player would be made out of those really-teeny LEGO character things.

I'm not into the whole "mine craft" thing but they seriously need to slow down the releases of all these legos games,honestly after playing the starwars ones I was already bored of the series...

Minecraft is a shitty half baked indie game that runs for the absurd price of $27, but people buy the fuck out of it! I completely agree with you that Lego will find no shortage of eager buyers for this.
