i did search the forums and read some people posts with similar problems but didnt found an answer, so here i am:

just installed the USB Loader GX R1233 on the vwii, but i got a problem: the ocarina codes doesnt work.
first: i have installed all the apps on the USB drive, i dont have a SD inserted on the wiiU.

the steps i did:
the usb loader gx downloaded the DKC Returns ocarina codes, then i turn ON the one i need (remap the wii mote controls with B+down , etc), click on create, a msg appear saying the file was created, now i load the game and the code is not working.

i have ocarina ON in global settings, nothing. then i tried ocarina ON per game basis. nothing either.

i plugged the hdd in the PC to check if the files and folders were created and they are in the hdd. the ocarina code in the 'txtcodes' folder, the GCT file in the 'codes' folder.

ps: on a less important problem, in the same game i set the options to force 16:9 an that doesnt work either. but thats secondary, i need the ocarina codes to work.

It should work fine with Wii and gamecube games.
Generating gct and enabling Ocarina option in the game setting should be enough.
It also require a hooktype, but If you don't select a Hooktype, it enable "VI" by default.

Ocarina or aspect ratio patch with Channels are not working. (I don't know why, didn't take time to look at it).
but as you are playing a Wii game it should work. I don't know why it doesn't.

Make sure only have this cheat enabled, keeping other cheats enabled generally makes this one not work.

ok , after using ocarina with other games and got it working, its looks like part of the cheat code for DKC:R was the problem. some codes like 'moon jump' worked.
but the code to rebind the wiimote to B+down to pound wasnt. maybe the downloaded txt file wasnt formatted properly. idk.

so i created a new txt file and pasted the 'B+down' code only and used that to create the GCT file. it worked !
