hello guys!

i have a issue i have done this with my n3ds xl i don't know what to do now?!
what are my option what kan i do?

Updating/Formatting a New 3DS via System Settings on 2.1

Since there's no New console that officially supports versions lower than 4.x, updating via System Setting after the 2.1 downgrade will brick your console for sure. Why this bricks is because you're running a Old3DS-exclusive version, and if you try to update or format the system

Please post your issue on your own post and in the proper thread. Posting issues of your own on other peoples topics is very disrespectful especial since this issue is not related to your topic .

There is no difference at all in the hacking method. If you don't go with n3ds over o3ds tho, you will regret it.

I agree with neither. I have installed it on both and was exactly the same, far as I could tell.

For sure go with the N3DS.

They might be the same but the N3DS has more processing power meaning you can run NTR Plugins on Extended Memory Games for example Pokemon Sun/ Moon

Its actually can be way easier to install on a new 3ds using the otpless installer, but it isn't recommended

Funny u brought that up, since literally nobody recommends that method. Random brick chance even if u do the hack with 100% accuracy? No thanks.

I never actually recommended it, I was just answering the OP's question as to which is faster and otpless is way faster (plus you can do it directly on 11.2 using safehax)
I do agree that the OP should follow 3ds.guide though

as far as i can remember, that random brick chance was reported like once and then just repeated by a million parrots? and chances are the person did make a mistake anyway

Hope u don't think i was accusing u of recommending it. More like just bashing it before op had a chance to ask about it. :)
Some ppl like to try it just for the excitement tho. Those ppl usually have a hardmod tho.
I did see a while back someone recommend otpless to a noob on the 3ds homebrew discord. It should go without saying, he got flamed to hell. Lol

Afaik, not true. It was removed from plailect's guide for a reason. And ppl with way more 3ds hacking experience than me claim that the random bricking is real, so I'm inclined to believe it wasn't just a one-off.
