Has anybody gotten this to work? Works fine on my S5. Using OTG adapter that came with my phone. It doesnt even detect. On my S5 it asks me for permissions when I plug in the switch. On the note 8...nothing.

Did you download the one straight from the source? Or play store?

Working fine for me here on my S8, what's the payload you guys are using and what cable are you using?

I'm using USB-C to USB-C Belkin Thunderbolt 3 also USB Debugging enabled.

Look into your settings on the phone I had a similar problem with my LG G6, turned out the standard USB connection option was just loading, you need so set it to data transfer.

Works fine for me from my note 8. USB to usb type C cable and a usb to to regular usb adaptor is all I use. The type c side of the cable HAS to go into the switch. The dongle part that is type C HAS to go into the phone. It doesnt work the other way around for me. Lmk if you have any questions. It deff works tho

I'm looking for a way to boot sx os from my samsung s8 after putting the jig in if anyone knows?

That's what I am using m S8+. I bought a USB C OTG adapter and I connect that to the phone. I then plug the cable from the charger into the Switch and adapter. Works flawlessly every time.

You gonna need a OTG adapter but I heard a double ended USB C cable can work. I haven't tried the later yet.

how do you run the payload from your phone?

how do you get this to work?

Try to enable USB debug.

Go to settings > About phone > Software information > Touch various times Build Number.

Go again to settings then Developer Options > USB debugging on.

Try again uploading the Payload and report us.

Edit: When running the Payload you need to have the APP open. There is an option in which yo select the Payload, after selecting it and doing the above, go to logs and see if it does something.

You need to turn data transfer to through USB on. Go to developer options, then USB configuration, and make sure it is set on MTP.

I have the same problem. What make it work was. Use first the adapter included connected to the note 8, and now connect the USB cable from the adapter to the switch. (Swtich in rcm mode)

It will ask you for USB permissions, tap yes and your done.

You don't need to open the app to use it.

I am on a Notr 8 and running NXLoader with SX OS perfectly fine. I am using a USB-C to USB-C cable that came with my original Google Pixel. Like stated above, when plugging it in, make sure that you have the USB option set to data transfer.
