NxLink GUI Python 3
ToMc5hR.png

1.open HB Menu and click on Y key

2.click on Nxlink_start.sh to open the tool

3.browse nro file / enter Switch Ip adress

4.click Send NRO button

thats cool so no need to really mess with shutting down removing card then rebooting when done? thats clever and thank you..is it permanent or until reboot?

It this the same as ftp
sysftpd lets you connect and transfer any files type to sd card as this is what ftp server is for ,

but this one is for homebrew menu only , when you open hb menu and press Y key youll have popup message waiting for connection , this is where this tool comes in , to fastly send nro exactly on place and btw hbmenu auto launch it right away after it got recived

Don't we already have this?, NXLink GUI; I've got my own private version of the same program and it works fine on Windows alongside Linux via Wine.
I've also seamlessy intergrated this into things like NotePad++ for things like button press compile/compile & send and etc.

Now my main question is, other than the other program; what new features does this bring?

edit: forgot to mention but the existing version is already being ported, reworked and made more useful with a lot of qol features.

nothing major just small python experiment with nxlink :P

Looking at the source for this i see that you're not including NXLink in the source files, instead we have to supply our own? if not how are you using NXLink as an application without it being in source, alongside that how is it crossplatform? from what I can see, and I could just be blind as a bat but NXLink is an exe, sure it can be ran on linux using wine but does that really mean cross-platform? I'm actually really curious on how you're doing this for my own project.
If what you're doing is what I think you're doing, I'd love to know and include you on the project contributors.

P.S. great job on this, always nice to see people working together and making great things.

i was experimenting with this a little its nothing major cross platform cause can install nxlink binary using pacman

linux binaries are here https://devkitpro.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=8701

you install them on linux and can use it from this gui or terminal , also works with mingw on windows , not tested but should ^^

Hmmm, in this case I'll probably have to re-write it for optimal experience, I just don't want to be messing around with different versions of NXLink in order to acheive cross-platform so I'll figure out how it works and write my own calls to the switch in order to get it working, thanks though :)
