Man, I'm dying to buy one of these prototypes. I can't find anyone in existence on the internet who's actually in possession of one of these at the moment. I have deep pockets and I'm looking to make a serious offer to someone who has a WORKING prototype.

They made a prototype of the first portable with a K1 processor in it, but it's worth a fortune wherever it ended up. I just have a retail unit that was given to the Tegra 4 engineers as a "thank you" for working on the project. (My step-dad worked on the chip, not me)
I got one K1 prototype with 4gb of ram.

Everything is working on it, when i got it, it had a google account logged in, i performed a factory reset, and have not linked another one, so cant confirm that play store is still working.

Hey I've had a shield K1 prototype 720p screen for ages View attachment 139455

Mine is exactly that one, however mine is clocked as 2.5ghz and the device name is "Nvidia Shield LTE"

I will probably sell mine later on, does not crash, nor shutdown due to kernel /voltage issues, as the X1 prototypes, according to some reports online.

The only "Issue" with mine, is that there is no "Armor" [Faceplate] on it, and has a small crack where the Debug port is.

Dude, that's still an incredible thing to own. Mine needs the 18650 batteries changed out, but it's a regular retail unit.
