ROM Hack NTR and LayeredFS help

Hey guys! So I have rxtools with pasta 3.0 with a 9.2 sysnand and 10.3 emunand (2DS). I have a cartridge of Mario Kart 7 and I'm trying to make edits without recompiling the whole entire romfs. I got the plugin in SD:/plugin/gameid(yes I actually put in the gameid)/layeredfs.plg and my romfs file in SD:/mariokart7/Course/Gn64_LuigiCircuit.szs. When I try to load it with NTR CFW (in rxtools emunand) I get a green screen and an infinite loading screen,Help?

You're right, I guess I should've put that there. I guess I thought it belonged here because it's a CFW problem, not a rom hacking problem...
