Hacking Question Nsp update prompt

Im on a 5.1 setup on sx os. I just installed a nsp through the installer and it says i have to update the game. Should i just update to 6.1 using choi? Is it safe for my memory card thanks.

You can install the game update using your NSP-installer. You would have to update to 6.2.0 to download the game update from the eShop, and SX OS is not compatible with 6.2.0.

If it's a game, remove/uninstall it in Switch settings and reinstall it using Tinfoil and select 'ignore FW version'. The sx nsp installer doesn't have that option. I recently had to do this with Abzu, as that requires a higher FW. Installed it fine via tinfoil though. Hope you didn't update yet, assuming I understood your question correctly.

That happened to me ALL the time with every game. It's important to install the updates in order or the console won't recognize them. If there are more than one, you must install every update.

Just find & install a update nsp for the game with same title id. You should still be able to launch the game without updating. If its asking for a firmware update thats different.
