I was thinking of doing the seedminer method however I have some questions. I have kirby dream course would that work? also does this method allow me to get FBI and free eshop to download games and run emulators and such? was also thinking about getting a flashcart which from what I understand isn't as involved as the seedminer. If that were the case whats the best flashcart to get to be able to do the things I want to do? I have a new 2ds xl by the way running 11.6. Some flashcarts are really pricey and allows you to run 3ds games not just ds games but I hear you can do the same thing with the cheaper cards through CIA's and such. Yep, those are Gateway, Stargate, & Sky3DS. Gateway requires a ton of setup if you want to use it on 11.6 and boot9strap, Stargate only plays 3DS games after you install b9s, but I've heard Sky3DS is okay if you really want to keep your 3DS stock (which there isn't really any reason to do).

Ironic thing is you have a pretty good chance of getting banned with sky3ds if you don't know what you're doing.

You have to inject custom headers into every game you want to go online with. In order to get custom headers easily you need to cfw your 3ds anyway. So it's pretty useless. Of course there are some workarounds to getting the custom headers w/o cfw, but why waste your time.

the best part about getting the flashcart is using it to play DS games after you're done with the b9s part.

That is true. However I thought with the FBI thing you don't need the flashcart to play DS games, you can just get them from free shop or what have you.

3ds games you can install as CIA, plain old ds games you need to use a flashcart to play.

Oh, well then i'm glad you told me this cause I absolutely wanted to play DS games as well! also do you know how to upgrade the sd card that came with it to my 32gb one? I rather start this process with a bigger card so I can just be ready for when I can get the games on it

plug both SD cards into your computer, ctrl+c ctrl+v the files across
or plug 1 in, copy to a folder on your desktop, & then copy the contents of the folder to the other SD
