Might be wrong, but I think the Black Friday $99 deal last Fall were the only regular-size N3DS sold in North America that weren't a fancy faceplate bundle, and I imagine those are pretty rare. I bought the SM3DL bundle last summer, which included two faceplate sets and was $149, and I liked it so much I bought another one before they were all gone. Those were on fw 10.7 so you can probably guess what happened next.
