Hey!

My wii is on 4.1E and is softmodded. I have IOS249 (rev14) and I also have Hermes (cios222 on 38 merge 37 and cios223 as 38).
Everything works. I can play games through neogamma, and I can launch games from my harddrive (160 gb NTFS @ WD Passport) with USB Loader GX...

...But for some screwed up reason, I don't have an option to install (rip a game) a game to USB Loader GX (from disc). I have tried googleing... I have tried different revisions of USB Loader GX... I have tried looking for some setting for that, obviously there is not. My USB Loader GX is "unlocked", so it's not that either.

I have noticed another strange problem on my wii, which can be somehow related to the issue... I can't boot hackmii though the sd channel menu (anylonger). But there's nothing wrong with the sd card. Homebrew uses it and it works fine, and so those USB Loader GX (i have covers).

Well eh, please help?

EDIT: More info just in case...
ios60 is patched

the Install Menu should pop up once a disk is inserted, inf not press the big plus icon to install game to your HDD which is located on the bottom left of the screen(default theme)

i just noticed your using a NTFS partition, im not sure but i think the install option in disabled when using NTFS as write support is borked but this might of been fixed already and make sure your using a updated version of GX that supports NTFS

well i would of recommended WBFS awhile back but ive been using FAT32 which hasnt failed yet and it can be used with all homebrew that support USB, so there is really no need for WBFS unless you want to boot games of USB using NeoGamma which as of yet only supports WBFS but that isnt really a big deal

so if i had a choice i would go for FAT32

Alright, but what about the 4 gb limit? Some games are more than 4 gb big even after being backed up.

Edit: I just realized what the 4gb-32k option was for

loaders and managers have an option to split the games into parts - 2GB, 4GB or no split so your covered there, so depending on what you want the games will be ripped in several parts most game only need the 4GB split as most dont go over 4GB anyway, only a select few, MPT, SSBB
