Yea.. No Good.. My Girlfriend wanted to put netflix on our wii which i hacked with the Zelda hack a long while ago and it told her something about needign to be upodated... so she did... now i'm on 4.3u it says and I usually go through USB LoaderGX to play all my games off of an External.. but now when i try to go to USB LoaderGX I get this odd screen that say's ' Exception ( DSI ) occurred ' followed by a bunch of misc numbers and letters then it says ' Stack Dump " followed by a bunch of misc numbers and letters then ' Code Dump ' Followed by more misc letters and numbers.. then it says ' reloading in 5 seconds' and then the word ' Reload ' then just freezes.. Its got all that on one black screen.. Any Idea or clue on how to get this back to usable ? Thanks..

Hopefully you still have the homebrew channel. You need to update to HBC1.08 using a wi-fi connection. Just go to the channel and it updates automatically.

Then follow the Sticky guide on how to mod a 4.3.

I found a topic on another site very helpful,
How To Restore the Trucha Bug in IOS36 [Guide]

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
