I’m an extreme Noob and figured I have my day one Wii just sitting around so after following a Youtube guide I have the Wii home brewed and backed up. However I seemed to have hit a snag with Nintendont as in I don’t have any USB HHDs except for Flashdrives but I heard that isn’t recommended and just wondering what USB HHDs work best compatibility wise and if possible a Amazon/eBay link to buy one. Thanks!

Greetings,
What i do is i buy this 2.5" hard drive enclosure off amazon for $8 then i get a used working 2.5" laptop hard drive on ebay for under $10. I always get a 500gb one which is plenty of space for my wii. Here are the links. Let me know if you need any more help. Its not letting me add the links on here but search amazon for

and ebay for

used 2.5" hard drive 500gb

Invest in a larger sized SD card (512gb should do the trick).
I use Samsung micro SDXC 512gb &/or 256gb.
Has all the apps I need & loads of room for GC games.
Oh - It's cheaper than HDDs & more convenient ;)

If it's to store both Wii & GC games, then you would be better with HDDs. The Gb's would be huge, & I haven't tested any micro SDXC above 512gb. I honestly don't foresee any major issues, but personally, I like to be sure.
