Iirc, if an error occurs then it will be displayed, right? Otherwise, not sure why the sudden want for text under the loading bar. Besides, it would clash with how I have my background. Abz's work is very well done.

PS. Am I the only one that liked this style of loading bar?

This one uses exactly the default deja vu font with full block glyph replaced

I noticed it freezes on loading for me. Doesn't do this if loaded from hbc

Also, trying to get the custom purple loading bar one, getting an error when I try to download it.

False alarm. From Wiiflow, I had HID enabled but it wasn't plugged in. (any chance we could have where it errors at pop up when it does?)

This release doesn't need to be recompiled to change a background, you just need put your desired background in the same folder as the boot.dol, and rename it "NinBackLight.png"

NinBackLight.png will load the purple progress bar that you want, there are other options in the OP.

The file needs to be png, I attached the image, use it
As you see the image looks squished, but gets normal aspect ratio on vWii.

Did a striped background, similar to GameCube boot on original Wii

found a small bug. Try to boot a game with HID controllers enabled and watch the Nintendont boot screen. Small error message appears for a second. Very annoying.

I'm using ULGX and I don't get any error message, set it as autoboot=on

yes me too, you can see this even with default theme too it's a bug in nintendont that we know of.
I've talked to the devs about it and hopefully joostin will fix this next time he updates by adding a tiny timeout to the hid check,
this made me recompile with this error commented but hopefully it will get fixed soon

Are you keeping a copy of all backgrounds that work with the new revisions done by me, you or other users.
I would like to start working on sorting and naming in order to add theme selection from within the loader.
If you can please make a zip file with all working backgrounds and I'll take it from there

you should be using either GC or BT controllers, try hid and you'll see it
