Hacking Nintendont isn't reading my third party GameCube adapter

I bought a third party GameCube controller adapter from Amazon and can't figure out how to make it work with nintendont.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

The nintendont folder is untouched other than me copy and pasting an .ini file that I thought would make things work, but didn't.
