TheSixthAxis is delighted to formally announce Nintendo Unleashed 2011, a nationwide tour from the Big N that kicks off this weekend at Hyper Japan in London and looks to be unmissable for gamers.

The tour is designed to give Nintendo fans the chance to get their hands on Nintendo’s top games this year well before they’re released, and that includes the likes of Mario Kart and Starfox 64 on 3DS alongside Zelda: Skyward Sword on Wii.

Here’s the full list:
3DS
Starfox 64 3D
Resident Evil Revelations
Metal Gear Solid 3D
Super Mario 3D
Mario Kart 3D
Wii
Kirby
Zelda Skyward Sword
Xenoblade

The best bit is that most of the above games are fresh from E3, which means fully playable builds that – in some cases – won’t be far away from the finished articles. Some of the 3DS games like Mario Kart and Super Mario represent the second generation of 3DS games and are well worth trying out.

Visitors can also grab themselves a fancy bit of Nintendo swag by simply going up to a member of the team at the event and answering the following question: “How many Ocarina songs can you learn in Ocarina of Time?”

You can buy tickets for the first event, which to remind you is at Hyper Japan in London from this Friday until Sunday, here. We’re told there’s going to be double the number of dates across the country so if you’re not London-based then look forward to further announcements as the tour travels around the UK.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 on 3DS will be present at dates after this weekend.[/p]

This appears to be a UK tour at the moment and if you're not in London then look out as further dates will be revealed soon- as the article states. I would do a TL;DR, but you really do need to read it if you're interested.

You know what would be nice? Demos on the eShop (at least for 3DS titles).
This. Reggie said that we were getting demos, but no other info has been given to us on when will they go live in the eShop... they could prepare them instead of making events like this, so everyone around the world could play them.
