Hardware Nintendo 3DS Real from E3

I just noticed something: the top screen seems to be smaller in height than the bottom screen, does that mean DS games that use both screens for a single image will look awkward now because of the resizing?

Haven't thought about that..but I'm quite sure that screen resolution is increased.
Also, I'm sure they took a good care of the backwards compatibility, and minimized the "awkwardness" if there is any.

Well I mean, for a handheld. I personally set my bar pretty low and the graphics were pretty awesome, considering it fits in your hand.

**EDIT: Comment re: topscreen height. It looks the about the same as the bottom to me, at least from this pic. Kinda hard to tell because of the way the screen is tilted.

Graphics on that Kid Icarus game looked mind blowing.

Not agreeing. They looked mediocre compared to what WOULD be possible on a portable system.

I am very excited for the MGS game though, I hope they have some of that sexy cutting action somehow built in

When ds games are blown up on larger screens they look extremely low res.This looks decent on a large screen, imagine how it will look when compressed to a 3.5 inch screen

the 3DS for a price point of $200 i will get it on launch date. i hope it will be this year though... even December!!! Wanna get my hands on it...
