Hacking ninjads and other firmware

Im using ninjads, and i dont receive any news from the ninja team I dont know if they are still alive or still sleeping for almost 6-8 months. So I just wanted to ask If I can use other firmware from other slot 1 devices?

The chance of another firmware working on a completely different card is minimal (though there are some cards which can use interchangeable firmware - these cards have similar hardware, eg. N-card and clones, R4 and M3 Simply, G6 and M3 Real)

I would just recommend you switch to a cheap card like the R4 for a much easier and smooth experience
