I have managed to make a simple modification to the save editor. Three code files are changed in this modification and I include them in the zipped file in case anyone wants to merge them with the master, or make further modification/enhancement.

The modified editor now allows (just to be on safe side, please make a backup of your save file before making any edits):
  • Changes to Familiars (e.g. you could also try changing the Familiar ID that you already have to the ones that Derwin is looking for in his errands and see whether he accepts them, this help reducing the grinding of taming wild familiar)
  • Changes to the amount of Guilders and Casino Chips
  • Changes to Inventory Items (e.g. you could also try changing the Item ID of the one that you already have to the one that you need, but make sure they are of the same Item Type)
Let me know if it works for you.
Enjoy.

Could this familiar ID editing potentially be used to obtain the unobtainable Nobillia class familiars?

Yes, and you could also change any familiar ticket ID that you have to Mandragorer familiar ticket ID, and then you could exchange it in Temple of Trials (see the video below for four forms of Nubilia familiar which created by editing the ID of other four familiars, and the exchange of 3 Mandragorer familiar tickets in Temple of Trials).

Cheers.

Thanks for the editor!! Can you improve the editor to add items in inventory (instead replacing existing items)?

Many thanks in advance!!

I got a question, when I open the savedata from NI NO KUNI with HxD, why I'm only seeing offset up to 00000530 (not beyobd this line)....

is there any function I need to turn on or anything?

It worked only once, and then all the time it gives an error when opening save files.
Save files dumping by JKSV or Checkpoint but error opening same

Hey, ist it possible to use this or anything else to convert my save from switch to PC?
