Hi guys,

I need your help!
I bought a used xbox 360 with aurora.
The games installed work, but I tried to add new games, but no luck.

1. I downloaded some 360 redump ISOS
2. Converted them with god2iso
3. uploaded via ftp to games folder with same file structure as other games
4. On Aurora it show box with some text (gathering information, updates... bla bla bla)
5. nothing happens.

I tried other isos sources, but I'm sure they are perfect.
What am I doing wrong??

Did you rescan your games folder for new games in Aurora settings? You can also use IsoExtract :

Try using Aurora file explorer to navigate to game and launching. What does your hdd file structure look like?

I tested deleting a game that worked (Burnout Paradise) and installing a game converted by me.
The game was installed by someone that had this console. I deleted it and installed it again from my ISO source.

The files of the game are (file and folder):
hdd1/games/Burnout Paradise/00007000/804FDD2D2D2F4E0EFC6CAF
hdd1/games/Burnout Paradise/00007000/804FDD2D2D2F4E0EFC6CAF.data

They are exactly on the same places.
Aurora launches a popup and get back to games covers. Nothing happens.
Even using file explorer.

I don't know what to do next...
Tried different ISO sources.. same
Tried renaming game folder to Burnout Paradise (XXXXXXX) .. same

The games already installed are in GOD format. not extracted format.
I would like GOD more because it's faster transfering over FTP.

I believe GoD games go into the content folder? I'm not entirely sure as I don't use GoD since there a lot of archived files. I use extracted physical dumps as it has less files and those go in the Games folder on the HDD1

EDIT : For example, Burnout Paradise... the 00007000 folder goes into contents and without the game title folder. They're not made like extracted dumps.

All guides says this.. GOD -> content and extracted -> Games folder

But the previous owner installed GOD on Games folder and I was just doing like him.

it doesnt matter where and how the game is on the hdd (or usb). You just need to configures the path in aurora config (config th path where the game is and leave depth infinite), and it will find the executable (again: does not matter if GOD or extracted)

-for example, my own god games are on hdd0\god_games\ and Aurora finds them just fine, since it is pointing to it.

the only benefit of putting god GAME on the "proper" path is that it will appear on oficial dashboard as well.

-dlcs and stuff needs to be on the proper path and be "activated" (I like to use xm360 to organize all my stuff)

note some games has special ways to install (mostly multidisc games).

obs: you can configure more than one path.

Thank you for confirming my hypothesis 🤙🏽
In Aurora setting the path is pointing only to Games folder.
I think it is irrelevant since it was working before. i just deleted the folder and recreated it from my internet source iso.

Thank you so much for your input.

I think the problem should be related to redump isos. Are they encripted?
I'm using Iso2god 1.5.0 to convert them. I tried with padding full and none.

I just found out the problem!

Filezilla corrupts the files while uploading.
I had to toggle a setting to treat the files as binary.

WTF!
Thank you all
