Hello people of GBATemp
I bought the Old 3DS on ebay with the firmware of 7.2.0-17E, and i bought a Gateway flash cart, and I've tried to hack it, but end up with an error saying

"An error has occured.
Press and hold the POWER Button

to turn the system off.
Please refer to the Operations

Manual for details."

can someone please give me a tutorial on how to do it so that I can play Pokemon and hack it for fun.
Thanks!

Find a game to update to anywhere around 9.0.0 or 11.3.0 and return it so you can use the homebrew launcher method.
I dont believe that would work seeing at that would be a cart update and wouldnt touch the sound player to allow the correct version to be exploitable.
