New SMG2 info!!! Another playable character?

Here is some info about SMG2 from the OMN review.

- Galaxy 2 takes place in an alternate reality where Mario and the Lumas never met
- the big Luma owns Spaceship Mario, which was transformed into its shape from a simple planet
- the big Luma is known as 'Lubba'
- Lubba needs power starts to fuel the ship, which Bowser has stolen...alongside Peach
- What does Lubba say when he transforms the planet into Spaceship Mario? "Nice spaceship, huh? More like a FACEship!"
- 40 galaxies
- the tree slide that appears in some trailers is a star available in TreeTrunk Galaxy
- Expect more Yoshi action than was had in New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Spring Mario only makes 2 appearances
- Luigi becomes playable in some fashion once you reach 20 stars
- Another playable character is hinted at for when you reach 120
- A monkey known as "The Chimp" let's you play minigames
- good amount of 2d portions
- expect many throwbacks to classic Mario games once you hit the later stages
- Bowser stages are similar to those in Super Mario 64


I find this all very interesting. An alternate universe and another playable character when you reach 120 stars? Speculation? What character do you think will be playable? There was that rumor of Sonic a while back...

Maybe at 20 stars, Luigi is like a support, but at 120 stars, you can play as him and only him.

If they have another playable character it will obviously be someone, who could use similar moves like Mario and Luigi and I think that could be Wario.

But something inside me thinks, that it`s going to be Donkey Kong, since the EAD of Tokyo also did Jungle Beat and if you guys ask me Galaxy received a little bit inspiration from that title (especially the 2D parts with the jump-combos, the spinning flower, etc.) and with some adjustments he could fit in that game... But I doubt that!

I don't think he has any reason to have altered the post from the source. Most likely, the source found out that they printed false info so they edited their page, which is why it now says "- something might happen after 120 stars, but specifics are not hinted at."

they did edit it it used to say Another playable character is hinted at for when you reach 120 stars now they changed it to something. wish they'd make up their damn minds i still think it is a new char and they fucked up that's why they edited it. too late now!

The secret playable character will be Link and the galaxy will suddenly turn into 3rd person adventure. When you finish the game he will pop out and go "Buy my game pirates!"
