Hacking new nintendo ds

is it region lock since I want to buy Gyakuten Saiban all of them for this game I'm going legal baby for this game and I have old version but I want the new one since I rather play with my micro gba slot rather then nintendo ds, gba games

Only the DSi (new ds) specific games will be region locked, so yeah, it is safe to buy it.

DS games = REGION FREE

DSi games = REGION LOCKED
DSiWare = REGION LOCKED

GBA games = NOT SUPPORTED


No games specifically for the DSi have come out yet. So any DS game you buy now will work in the DSi.
