So I try to figure out why texture replacement not working in NetherSX2 on Switch (P3FES for example). My Switch using SD card format to exFAT, and I use DBI to transfer ISO file that bigger than 4GB. This app will split ISO into folder, but Switch still read it as single file. Maybe that why texture replacement not working. This picture below show ISO file as a folder, instead of single ISO.
exfat does not have a 4-gb limit. Only fat32 has. By using the mtp protocol, you can bypass this limit without having to split the file. DBI can use this protocol to transfer files if you still want to use this app.
yes sorry for my mistake. Just re check and my SD card formatted to FAT32. I transfer file using MTP protocol and DBI still split file bigger than 4GB. It's in their document

That's strange. I checked it again on my PC, and that's not the case for me. The files larger than 4 GB that I transferred via MTP are a single file and aren't split up. The 4gb limit is only a transfer limit not a storage limit. In theory, you could create a zip file split into several parts, transfer it, and unzip it on your switch to rebuild the file if nothing else is working.

Someone tried to play the Budokai Tenkaichi 4 mod? I tried and it slows down a lot when the 2 fighters are on screen. There's some good configuration for the game?

I ran a few tests and found that setting the HW download mode to “Disable readbacks” actually results in a noticeable increase in frame rate and stability for some games. Check beforehand to see if this setting is recommended for a specific game or if it could cause problems
Hello everyone. For the last while here I've been working on porting ARMSX2 to the Switch, and it's finally to a point where I think it can be properly released to the world. Certainly don't expect anything crazy from this. It gets about 45-70% speed most of the time and that's with a max overclock on my V1 Switch. Without overclocking it doesn't even reach half speed in the PS2 BIOS. Maybe newer Switches with better overclocking potential can do better? I also plan to work on optimisations more so that hopefully it can run better. I never expect full speed though no matter how much I try...
Digimon World Data Squad runs almost full speed, only having some drops at the battle UI when there are so many options to choose. My Switch is v1 and cpu was overclocked to 1785mhz. Everything else was stock.

Let's do it, point me to the development tools. I specialize in python, more on .Net typically, fairly comfortable with Java as well. What tools, what compiler, what framework - let's do it! Basically, if we are reverse engineering an insecure APK for AetherSx2... why not ArmSX2... given there are no limitations to future release cycles.
Just a thought. But I'm game, give me the relevant information, will help where I can.
Wonder if a fork is possible for Horizon OS... I'm gonna see whatever's available in the public domain today. While the hardware is limited... worth a try...

I bet the developer of the ArmSX2 port for the Switch would appreciate some help if you are so motivated and willing to do it. It's at least worth asking.
