1. Go to the unblock-us website and download the 1 week free trial and install in on your pc.
2. Go to the 3DS Internet Connection Settings
3. Open active connection (same as you use on the pc)
4. Click "Change settings"
5. Obtain the North American DNS from the unblock-us wii tutorial.
6. Change "Auto-Obtain DNS" to enter manually (please DO NOT touch "Auto-Obtain IP Address", scroll right one more time)
7. Enter the DNS you can get from the unblock-us Wii tutorial in "Primary DNS" and "Secondary DNS" fields
8. Click "Confirm"
9. Click "Save"
10. Click "OK"
11. Wait until test is done and return to main screen.

EDIT: ONLY FOR US 3DS HOLDERS OUTSIDE THE US!!
unblock-us also allows you access to the Netflix website on your pc.

Has this been confirmed to work? I thought you couldn't download the Netflix app outside America and Canada?
Forgot to mention you need a US 3DS. Stupid of me.

Is there any way I can activate Netflix without a credit card? I don't want any risk of being charged in my credit card!

I followed the tutorial, but I need to activate the free trial.

Paypal can be linked to a checking account if a credit card is not available to be charged.

Wow nice. Willing to try this. BUT I don't want to use my credit card... and I don't have a Paypal account or whatever. Any other way? @_@

Anyways... Thanks for this tut but I got a proxy site that lets me visit Netflix site. And yeah it still needs a credit card to create an account to claim the free 1 month trial @_@

Yeah, I did use my credit card.
I just put a reminder in my phone that I need to make sure to cancel my subscription before 15 August.

interesting. but needing a credit card for "free" trials just won't cut it for me. at least, not yet.

get me my 3D movies and i'll throw Netflix my credits in a way that can only be described as "epic".

EDIT: anybody wanna share their netflix trials? or is it against the rules to ask for one? if it is, please disregard this edit.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
