nes with rgb mod hum noise

hi to all. my recently modded nes with rgb has a hum noise. I'm using a ps2 slim power brick for power the unit. all my retro consoles run with that and sounds ok. I told the tech who did the mod but it's too busy right now. maybe someone run into the same issue and can tell me what it could be
