I know how to get them working, however,

is it possible to get the 4 player games working? for example, bomberman 2 on NES. i tried, couldnt get 4 player working, probably didnt have the latest version of the emulators.

Im interested in 4 player co-op games on both NES and SNES.

any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S im also interested on knowing how to save using the snes emulator:) when i first tried, i couldnt get it working with just frontSD.

I know the NES (FCEU Ultra Wii edition)can take 4 controllers what I know of.

Check up on Snes9xGX, it suppose to be really good.

thanks, i have a feeling i probably was using an older version that didnt support 4 controllers, or maybe i did it wrong:).

is snes9xgX 002 the latest? i see a release date of july 21 i think...

Donno, I just tried 2 controllers, I just read somewhere it should work for 4 controllers or its inwork... I don't know.

Yes that's the latest officially supported release, based on the snex9x 1.50 kernel
there's also 3.1 by LopSt (don't pay attention to the version number) which is a bit older and has about the same functionality. But it's based on Snes9x 1.43 and it is not officially supported since the source code hasn't been released.

I didn't think neither NES or SNES supported up to Four Players.
I'm not sure about the NES, but the SNES had Hudson's Super MultiTap adapter which turned port #2 into four additional slots (though there were very few games that allowed a Player 5) which was compatible with Hudson's own Bomberman games, and a scant few others.

I've never had it myself, but I knew about it back then.

yah, the reason i want the multiplayer is just for the bomberman games, my cousin had the original one for nes (i believe made by hudson also..) for the bomberman games.

and now that i got my sd card back, i can begin trying to the emulators out instead of asking questions:)

thanks for all the replies and information everyone:) much appreciated.

gamecube's version for fceugc (NES Four Score ), sness9x (Super Multitap ) & genesisplus (4 Way Play, team Player & J-Cart) had support for up to 4 players

if the coders who quickly added wiimote&co support did a a good job, this should work also on wii versions

I know the current wii version of genesisplus also have support for up to 8players in some games (didn't try it, you need a bunch of controllers lol)
