I am trying to copy my save data for The Last Story to the SD card, but I get "Failed to copy file(s)"
I can do this just fine on my actual Wii, but not the Wii U.
I have the latest version of WiiXplorer, and it uses IOS 58

Try changing the force IOS settings in WiiExplorer to one of the cIOS you have installed. (ex.: d2x 249[56])

When I load wiixplorer in vwii it cant see the sd or usb device. Currently using r259 (the last rev). Any ideas??? (and i dont see any option to force ios in wiixplorer btw)

What IOS is it set to use in the settings? Try using a cIOS you have installed. (It's in one of the settings on the second page of options I think?)

Settings>Boot Settings>Boot IOS - change it to a cIOS you have installed like IOS249.
that was the first thing i did. it doesnt save the setting. have u gotten this working on vwii? i need confirmation it actually works on vwii.. im wondering if maybe it just doesnt for some reason

I only have a Wii. You should be able to change it in the settings file with a text editor, though.

I just tried that. It was set to 202, i changed it to 251, 249, etc etc etc. nothing worked. it still can only see the nand, not sd or usb.
