Hacking need help with wiikey config disc 1.2

hi i have a NTSC wii and the wiikey installed. I am trying to turn on the Region override with the 1.2 config disc. I turn it on then click on save settings. then restart my wii then go back to the config disc and it is turned off again

why is this?

When you set everything in the settings, save and leave, it's saved. You don't need to go back into it. If you do go back into the config disc it resets everthing.

It doesn't 'reset everything' when you use the disc again, per se. The disc simply displays the default options each startup because it doesn't read any data from the WiiKey (due to the 'stealth features').

Whatever you have set when you hit the save button will be written to the WiiKey. It doesn't change anything unless you hit the save button again.
