I am using a usb drive using FAT32 formatting

Yes

Things like the abz mastepiece pack support plugins that link to emulators. No need to worry since I have em working.

Sometimes a black screen, sometimes it boots back to the system menu. For both wii and gamecube.

GameCube games should work fine with a usb flash drive. But not all Wii games will work for you when using a usb flash drive..
You can try formatting it as wbfs with WiiBackupmanager, but don't expect it to play every game or anything. It's just that Wiis don't like usb flash drives, you're better off using an external hdd which is what we recommend people to get around here..
Have you tried with USBLoaderGX? I suggest using this version, remove any old one you might have.
Also what video cables are you using?
Do you have region free settings enabled in Priiloader?

Gamecube games are working now.

I have had usb drives work with the wii before.

Usb loader gx never works for me.

I am using the stock cables that come with the console

I believe so.

Then it must be just an incompatible drive. You can format it as wbfs with WiiBackupmanager and try again, though when doing this you couldn't play gc games with it..
